Welcome to the Historical Diving Society Australia – Pacific

The Historical Diving Society: Australia-Pacific preserves and promotes the rich history of all forms of diving. Members collect and restore old diving technology such as traditional diving helmets and pumps, early scuba gear and related equipment. Members also collect books, research early divers and meet regularly to exchange information, assist each other with restorations and to socialise. Although the Society itself does not dive, individual members and their friends often organise events where they put on displays and dive their own equipment.

Membership

Membership in the Society includes four issues of the Society’s magazine ‘Classic Diver’ as well as the invitation to participate in events and network with others interested in historic diving, both in our region and internationally..
